Interactive online seminars and collaboration with MS teams

For interactive collaboration including live transmission of lectures in groups (e.g. seminars, practice groups, and tutorials), Microsoft Teams in the Microsoft Azure Cloud is provided as a central service for the entire KIT.

MS Teams can be used directly with the KIT account without VPN. Before usage an activation via the website https://my.scc.kit.edu/shib/azurefreigabe is necessary. There you will also find the corresponding data protection declaration, which must be approved before use. 

It is also possible to add partner accounts (GuP accounts) in MS Teams. To do so, please proceed the same way as for KIT employees.

Students can be added as guests, but can only accept invitations to a team after they have given their consent to store data in the cloud.
